Tim Barrus New York Times
The New York Times has published my response to a beautiful film they have released about bearing witness to the grief that has descended on the earth, and the earth has had enough. This is filmmaking.I am totally knocked out with this. Thank you for – the simplicity – it makes it all the more informative, for me, it was not unlike how to pay attention to those songs from the past, some sound of birds in there. It’s dangerous to incorporate humanoid behavioral traits and apply them as contrasts to different theories on the Big Bugabuga scale of this is here and you did it. We did. We failed to restrain greed. We made greed into leadership. We could have wrestled both power and morality into an accountability, but we chose not to and not too and not to. Many, many times. And we are doing it again. Because homo sapiens sapiens embrace the posturing of Let’s Kill It and laugh. Let’s extort it, and laugh and laugh. I put a hex on everything you do. A spell. You have wasted the most precious resource. Time.
