Take Notes

Standardize. Regularize. Arrange. Conform. Anneal. Temper. Methodize. Sort Out. Balance. Control.

These are the rapist’s tools. He applies them to a canvas, and we are that canvas. No mention here of the term rapist. This is what normalization means. It’s called cherry-picking. If we all play polite, maybe we will survive the rapist.  Maybe not. In my – opinion – none of us will survive the rapist. I am battering my head against this brick wall because I have daughters. You, America, in your status quo of ignorance and indifference, have elected a rapist to lead us. The women who voted for the rapist are traitors. The future looks like rape. He’s coming for you. And you don’t even know it. No one has a monopoly on ignorance. Stephens takes in a deep breath and proclaims he can live with a rapist at the helm. Good for Bret. I will not do that. Why. Because it’s lame. It’s insidious. When we get to rape, all the other narratives vanish. It’s personal. I have been raped, and rape itself screams volumes. It is not acceptable. It is not civil. It is not polite. It is not tea and crumpets. We all know that you can get away with anything, anything, if you have the lawyers and can pay them blood money. America is blood money. America runs with it. But what does it mean. It means a rapist is accountable to no one. We make him one of us. We reward it because we live in the shadows of the systems we (men) have created. Maybe the rapist can defend us from the evils of the world. Americans do not understand that rape is about humiliation and control. It will now humiliate and control. Us. Rapists are not brave men. They’re cowards. Stop normalizing it.
