I seriously doubt that this one will be published. They’re fishing for a voice. I am not that voice. It’s a voice I know how to play to. I just don’t always use the same exact voice because the rhythms will begin a rendering of monotone because it’s pretending to know things. We fetishize the pretense of the pretenders. I might go with the West. They’ve already ruined the East. At the moment, I can hide in my treehouse in Appalachia. There is a lot going on here with development. Everything it touches is stained and ruinness with someone else’s blood. The work of horses.
Stain and ruin is the History of the South. I want things that go very fast. A one bedroom condo in the woods will cost you a cool ten million American dollars. Islands and provinces and princes are waging war again.
