When was the last time you read a book written by an autistic writer. Most of the Normals do not even believe that anyone neurodivergent enough to rebel against all the crazy boxes we are put in by an intolerant culture that condemns us to silence. We are not allowed a voice. We are not allowed to publish. We must remain quietly subservient. Eyes down. Put the mask on. Pretend to be a normal among the normals. Why should I even tell you I am autistic. What does it mean. It means I spend all of my energy trying to understand whatever it is the normals want.
