Donny John and the Big Boy Pants
We are told in kindergarten that we are a society of laws, not men. By first grade, we begin to realize we are a society of both laws and men. And women. Especially teachers. Whose authority shapes both behaviors and students.
I have written about a thousand times that Trump must go to prison. Bitterness. Abuse must mean something. Trump abuses power. Any teacher who abused a student would face consequences. Depending on the type of abuse and the location where the alleged abuse took place. Everything Trump touched was abuse. He’s beyond privileged, and all his silver spoons have convinced him that he’s not really Daddy’s Little Crybaby because Donald was mister president, and Daddy was only a small-time racist crook.
Not president big boy pants like Donald was The President, and, guess what, still is. The dragon and his wrath. Aggrieved little rich boys are far more dangerous than a coven of dragons.
There’s the politics of the thing. Indictment. There’s the law of the thing. Indictment. And there’s the economics of the thing. Class. Rich men do not go to prison and every American knows it. Trump would get a good public defender. One who didn’t have a 455,972 caseload.
The public defender might even remember his name. Donald John Trump. Infamy.
The word I am not struggling too hard to find is CASTE.
At this point, I just want him to go live in Trump Tower Mongolia. Let us wash our hands of it.
Not so fast.
CASTE is a wide net we have never dared to face.
