Single Lens Reflex Cameras are fine. For the people who want that. You can only make so many travel brochures, postcards, and Kardashion’s ass combined. GoPro is marketed as an action camera. But sports is not the only terrain a GoPro can be used. This is an underused (marketing has no idea what they are selling, what they’re selling is a stereotype). GoPro is perfect for what I do. I want some of my work to appear to be paintings. Then, step back. What is it. It’s about being there. What is it. It’s photography. It’s about putting humanity into what you see, and even if what you see is highly manipulated. But aren’t we all. That lens was developed from satellite tech. The wide angle suggests there is a story in there somewhere. We never know until one pops up.
