I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THE ENTITLEMENT AMERICAN PHILANTHROPY FEELS IT IS OWED

American philanthropic institutions are not the salvation of anything. What a crock of self-serving bullshit that is. Like we need you.

For fucking what.

We already pay and pay and pay a huge price for philanthropic indifference.

I don’t care if you don’t like me. I don’t care if I make you nervous. You should be nervous. I don’t care if all of you trip all over yourselves as you insist you are relevant. I don’t care if you don’t like what I have done. I don’t care if you bemoan my lack of what you call civility.

Where is it civil that people are condemned to eat out of dumpsters.

Your money doesn’t mean you’re the cowboy in the white hat.

Your ignoring people like us will be your legacy if you ever even have one. Your legacy is one of sheer self-interest. You are not the good guys. You are the people who choose to do nothing. You link corporate responsibility to pandering. Your agendas are old school stuff that has been done to death before. The instruments you use to measure everything all configure into bias after bias after bias.

What amazes me is how the philanthropic community thinks it is actually a community.

You are the opposite of community. The walls you build around yourselves – keeping certain people of a different class other than yourselves – OUT, remains inherently racist, homophobic, arrogant, and as empty as a toxic tomb.

You get to go to the ball and dance.

While the rest of us starve.

You do not give back. You maintain the status quo. Your insouciance reflects a complete lack of empathy, a complete lack of any moral center, vacuum after vacuum, and no one understands the rhetoric that comes out of your mouths as nonprofit mumbojumbo. You pretend. You do not mean what you say, and you do not say what you mean. Your actual commitment is to your class in a culture war of economic influenza.

You are not going to fucking shut us up.

We are going to call it like we see it.

We have seen the suits of the enemy, and he is you.
