Everyone Has Something They Can Do
adults describe him as He Can’t Do Shit/ He Can’t Do Shit has alienated just about every adult he has crossed paths with especially teachers teachers would like to wring his neck/ cops2/ 3principals/ social workers by the dozens, and every single solitary member of his family/ if you ask him why, he shrugs/ thing is, it’s an honest answer/ he really doesn’t know how could he because what he knows is the long litany of complaints that have been logged against him it’s all he hears/ it’s all there is to hear/ i have all these stupid theories in my book of the stupid theories that suggests to me what we value almost exclusively is whatever makes the most money, and that’s about it/ you are either making money or you are studying to eventually make money, and whoever makes the most money wins/ He Can’t Do Shit is downright lousy at things like learning math, not because he’s ignorant, but because he can’t sit in a chair long enough to absorb any of the concepts, and the fundamental thing kids learn how to do in traditional schools is called sitting in a fucking chair for hours/ the massive list of things He Can’t Do Shit can’t do is about as long as the dead sea scrolls/ you gotta start somewhere because there are a lot of He Can’t Do Shits out there/ everyone has something he can do/ i never know where to find it/ this will involve a certain amount of exploration which in traditional educational institutions is viewed as witchcraft/ i usually begin with music, and, often, we just dance on from there/ Every He Can’t Do Shit can do something/
