Cancer Alley” is an 85 mile-long stretch of the Mississippi river lined with oil refineries and petrochemical plants, between New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
If you live here, you are going to die.
If at any point you lived here, you are going to die, but it’s going to take a little longer. No one can live in Cancer Alley.
This morning, we were about forty miles into it. But we had to stop, and move more north because the fumes were making us sick.
