The culture wars are now civil wars. Every single writer at the New York Times is required to open with how sad it is. And we must not succumb to violence. The problem is that the New York Times itself is utterly at a loss to define what civil means. Is it civil to spew out the visceral rubbish that Charlie Kirk foamed from his mouth of actual obscenity. Or else it’s civil to hold your tongue because your class tells you that is why you are here. To be silent above it all. Very British. White men have to go. Sarcasm is protected speech. Ezra Klein did a complete about face. Yesterday, it was confrontational. He acknowledged there are problems. Duh. But we should be civil because (that is what we do when we want the job) it’s my job that matters. It is ordinary. I wonder what Patrick Henry would say. “It’s not a culture war anymore.” We haven’t yet seen Generals being executed. I think they forgot. So did the media. I assume if they happen, we will be required to watch and the Deviant will do voiceover. Resistance just died the death they set out to make happen, the real victim here is the kinda hang your head as you lock yourself in your dorm room where you write manifestos. Where are you going to run. According to the data, we are now at the point where Boston comes into play. March 5, 1770. A massacre. Americans were murdered. To not decide is to decide. All I’m saying is what will happen will be analogy we will study in Junior High school if there are schools at all. – tim barrus
