Tim Barrus and the New York Times

Social Media is the current whipping boy. Adults see chaos. Kids see chaos, too, and most kids are able to say: Consider the Source. The kids who cannot have that internal dialogue objectified, are lost.

Focus on them. But telling teenagers, they cannot have social media will cause World War Three, Four, and Five.

I note this: All the people who are screaming about social media have jobs where screaming about social media propels them into Real Media, and all the comfies that podcasts and books can bring.

Chill. Your teenagers will either be crazy or bored to tears with Social Media.
