You are your history. Hitler was not appeased.
A unified right wing. Nazi rallies were hypnotic August 1934. intimidation, and fear of the radical communists, bought Hitler a 90 percent electoral majority. Voters loved Hitler.
He was the dictator of new normals. During the election, Histler threatened violence against one German faction against other German factions.
He made totally unsubstantiated claims. He lied. He portrayed Nazis as the aggrieved people. He claimed genocide was loyalty. I am told that the analogies to Adolf Hitler are inappropriate. The analogies are apt.
The American right calls themselves the real Americans. Germans did the same thing in 1930. Hitler wanted a “clean race.” The American right wants the same thing. On August 13, 1961, East Germany built a wall. East Germany’s despot, Walter Ulbricht was born on June 30, 1893. Little is known about exactly where Ulbright was (as opposed to conflicting rumors) after the Nazi takeover of Germany in 1933.
He would not speak of it.
To refuse to speak about where you were in 1933, corroborates where you were in 1933. The Soviet Union said he was with them. Ditto France. Ulbright was a ruthless dictator. He executed thousands of East Germans.
Hitler employed 18th Century racial theory. His aryan race. None dared contadict him. 2020, three-hundred-thousand dead. “Unclean” people of color dying a high rates. Malfeasance in ordering a vaccine. Corruption as public policy. Analogies. You are your history.
