Abolishing the police is the only way to go if we desire going forward. The police are killing us. Who said they were allowed to murder people with impunity. Very few people discuss the inhumanity of operating prisons filled with people who have been condemned for minor drug offences.
America consumes more pharmaceuticals than any other nation in the world. It then throws these people into confinement where they learn about how crime really works. No one talks about rape. By cops. By prisoners. No one talks about sex work.
As a sex worker, most of my tricks were policemen. Most would pay me extra if: “Please don’t tell. Please don’t tell.”
I never told. But I am no longer willing to pretend that cops themselves are not part of the problem in the dehumanization and the criminalization of people in this world who are trying to survive. No one talks about the morality of survival and sex work.
No one talks about Trump’s privileged pay for play involving sex work and a porn star who is maligned as a wild animal. We conveniently forget about the end of the news cycle and our own complicity in the violence aimed at sex workers by the police when we are the ones who pay for play when play is defined as moral code for sin. Policemen would pay me for sex, and then I would pay other policemen for protection.
Trump, just another trick, now owns the issue of the A-word. I would hope that this man never has legal problems. I would hope that this man comes down with covid times ten.
